I feel like another thing to keep n mind about products that say that they can help your health is that if you've started trying to better your health you're probably doing other things along side it even subconsciously. Like if you've decided to eat healthier you're probably going to subconsciously shy away from junk food anyway. That can also affect placebos. Honestly some mild exercise and eating junk food in regulation is enough for most people to get healthier, if it's not then you should be seeing a doctor or specialist not falling for these scams

I have a tiny story to this topic and lucky to my laziness it didn’t go any further than a first stage. This was maybe around 2014 or so, I had a friend that approached me with this and at the time I was really into fitness and health and as I guess every other victim, the idea of controlling your “financial freedom” seemed awesome and against my judgment I did pay a 100 euro as a memberships fee and was sent a bunch of files with training and meal plans and generic approaches . We were to go into Facebook groups and target people and in the beginning i was motivated and determined but then I realized that there were no results as I simply wasn’t a sales person and thanks to god to my laziness I just simply canceled my membership. Plus, We were to order the products and try them out before selling and i didn’t see the point on spending money on the pills and just couldn’t afford either way. I must say that the exit was easy, no trouble.

Long story ahead, I'll give you a TLDR rn so you dont *have* to read the whole thing TLDR; My mom bought some juice plus+ stuff from her dietitian before learning it was an Multi Level Marketing thing. She never worked there dont worry. *story time* When I read the title I thought "wait, i have some of that brand" and it turns out that my mom bought the vitamin gummies my sister and I have, and some of the vitamin pill things from juice plus+ (or rather a hun-bot for them). She bought them from her dietitian and didnt know they were from an MLM, shes very anti-MLM and will never buy anything from an MLM ever again, but at the time she didnt know juice plus+ was an MLM and she only bought the stuff we still have now. She never worked for them, and would never work for one now, or ever.

I know someone who had gastric bypass surgery. She's had a ton of health issues due to malnourishment. A few years after she started taking pills like this. And here I assumed a legit doctor prescribed them by how she was able explain the benefit of them. After this I realize I'm such an idiot. She's into Reiki and all that shit. I should have known. Ugh that poor broke idiot. 💔

My doctor made me take these lol. I have a severe texture issue and Gag reflex (more when I was younger than now) and fruits would make me sick and I wouldn’t be able to eat them. So I took the fruit ones 😂😂

I have a loathing for Juice plus, my great aunt sells it and she told her own sister who had ovarian cancer that juice plus would cure it and she could stop the chemo. She then a while later told my grieving grandmother who’s husband just died that if he took juice plus he wouldn’t have gotten dementia and died,I wanted to kill her. She is now the worst person, she works at a nursing home and refused a flu shot (screw her) so they told her to take tamiflu and she literally said to my grandmother (her sister) “I’m not taking it, it’s not like they can prove I didn’t take it if I pick up the prescription”. I was livid, if my grandparents died because she didn’t want to get a flu shot I would sue, she shouldn’t work around the vulnerable. She also doesn’t believe in vaccines and when she questioned if I was vaccinating my son I replied “ Yeah, I like my children to live” just to piss her off. She is also heavily racist particularly towards native people, although her own mother has native ancestry and my grandmother married a fully native man, and had partially native children/grandchildren/great grandchildren. She is a baseline of awful and the completely insensitive health comments are the worst part. She wouldn’t have said my grandfather would’ve lived if she sold scentsy or something. Health MLMs are the worst kind in my opinion.

BLAIR, I really need you to read this!!! Thanks so much for making this video, I was always a bit meh on J+ but never really looked into it since many people in the UK have never heard of it. I watched this video last week and was really impressed with the work you put into it. Today I logged onto the Fibromyalgia forum I moderate to see a woman talking about dietary changes, the amount of medications she takes, supplements not working for her etc etc and she had a lil video I watched that had (among others) a green, a purple and a pink pill. Instantly I knew it was J+ and removed the post, blocked her and made an announcement to the group to warn them of the dangers. We have quite a few people in the group that are undergoing cancer treatments and have liver or kidney issues and I'm compiling a list of MLMs that are available in the UK to keep them updated of this predatory HunBots. If I hadn't watched your video I might have thought it was OK for her to post if she removed some of her claims as I would have considered it "just a supplement", but I did and thank to you, I was able to protect the purses, health and lives of these men and women I love. Thank you SOOOOOOOOOOOO much.

Oh huh. I completely forgot about this product. When I was a kid, we were pretty low-income, and our diet matched it. My grandmother gave me these, she'd order a four-pack of bottles every couple of months- and I just remember the TERRIBLE plant-burps they gave me. I never considered anything negative of it, I'm just glad I didn't have anything as insidious as some of these cases.
